Year 2006  was a good year  for the Choir we were kept busy with many weddings to attend. Concerts up and down the Country followed by a tour of France in September.photos of which you can see in the photos section.

 We performed at Derwendeg Primary School for our Christmas Concert along with Cefn Hengoed Ladies Choir.That went exceptionally well and was enjoyed buy all those in attendace.

year 2007 starts with a bang.

January  firstly performing in the community centre Bargoed for the O.A.P. after xmas concert.

February we are up in Tredegar for the O.A.P. there.

March we are in Leominster for a major Charity Concert in the Priory Church there fund raising for cancer.

April   we have a very special event taking place, we have been invited to sing at Ruth(Madoc) and John Jacksons Silver Wedding Anniversary along with Glynneath Choir.

Bargoed Choir and Ruth go back to 1984 where we first met In Plymouth while singing in a Pageant for Captain Drake celebrating his 400th anniversary.Ruth came to hear us Singing in the Sargents Mess where we were being bileted and from there we struck up a strong relationship, as a result we have been guests of Ruths on Many different occassions on tv.

we also sang at Ruth and Johns Wedding, and her Grandmothers 100th birthday party celebration.
